Being a Great Neighbor

Help us keep Spring Creek a wonderful place to live by following these community guidelines:

Keep It Clean: Maintain the beauty of our neighborhood by promptly cleaning up trash, grass clippings, leaves, sticks, or limbs from sidewalks and yards. Blowing grass clippings onto sidewalks or streets is illegal and may result in fines. Avoid disposing of yard waste over neighbors’ fences.

Responsible Pet Ownership: Always pick up after your pets on sidewalks or neighbors’ yards and keep dogs on a leash, as required by city ordinance.

Trash Can Etiquette: Place trash cans out the night before Trash Service Day and store them out of sight by the evening of pickup day.

Mailbox Lighting: Replace burned-out mailbox lights to ensure our neighborhood remains well-lit and safe at night.

Drive Safely: Practice responsible driving and encourage your children to respect neighbors’ property and safety.

Report Concerns: For suspicious activity, contact the Springfield Police Department at (417) 864-1810 or dial 911 in emergencies.

Community Amenities

Spring Creek offers exclusive amenities for residents and guests accompanied by residents, including:

Private Pool: Access requires a key card issued to homeowners. If purchasing a home, ensure the seller transfers the pool key. Only one free key card is issued per address. For details, visit the Swimming Pool page.

Tennis and Pickleball Courts: Request an access code by emailing springcreekpoa@gmail.com. Learn more on the Tennis, Basketball, and Pickleball amenities pages.

Swim Team: Find information about our swim team on the Swim Team section within the Swimming Pool page.

Annual Garage Sales: Held the first Friday and Saturday of May and October.

Note: Amenities are for Spring Creek residents only. Guests must be accompanied by a resident, and pool memberships are not available to non-residents.

Trash and Recycling Services

Trash Pickup: Every Monday (or Tuesday if a holiday falls on Monday).

Recycling Pickup: Every other Monday (or Tuesday if a holiday falls on Monday).

Annual Dues

Spring Creek’s annual dues are $650, due by January 31st each year. These dues cover essential services like trash and recycling carts. Late payments may result in loss of trash service, pool access, or a lien on your property. For more details, visit the Dues page.

Property Guidelines and Covenants

To maintain our neighborhood’s aesthetic and standards, please adhere to the following:

Outbuildings and Storage Sheds: Not permitted on any lot.

Fences: Fences require approval from the Architectural Committee. Chain-link fences are prohibited (except for common area tennis courts), and privacy fences may not exceed 48 inches in height.

Additions and Property Changes: Significant changes, including exterior painting or structural modifications, require Architectural Committee approval. Exterior brick surfaces cannot be painted.

Roof Replacements: Must be approved by the Architectural Committee. Requests should include shingle manufacturer, brand, and color. Approved roofs must use cedar shakes or composition materials meeting specific criteria.

Selling Your Home

If you decide to sell your Spring Creek home, please:

  1. Notify us via email at springcreekpoa@gmail.com when your home is sold to update dues and directory records.

  2. Provide the new owner’s contact information, if available.

  3. Transfer your pool key card to the new owner or return it to Spring Creek POA, P.O. Box 14082, Springfield, MO 65814. Key cards are deactivated once new owners request one or we’re notified of your move.
